Ralph Lasky Died at the age of 91 on March 25th, in his home in Las Vegas. He was born on June 7th, 1920 in San Francisco. He attended Galileo and after graduating, joined the United States Air Force. He was a boxer, traveling through the country as a member of the special services, winning the Golden Gloves Heavyweight Title. Throughout his life, he did different work, from owning The Ballet Bar in SF, to a stagehand in Las Vegas. For over 50 years, he was a member of the Olympic Club and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). He was an avid skier, racquetball player, golfer, water skier, and was still windsurfing at age 88-the oldest windsurfer in the country. Ralph inspired all of us with his humor, loyalty, and his love of life. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his daughter Joan Lasky, and granddaughter Erin Lasky. In honoring Ralph's wishes, there will be no services. Donations may be made to Summer Search at www.summersearch.org in his honor.
