Paul William Fullingim Jr. - Daily Ardmoreite

 Paul William Fullingim Jr., 62, of Madill, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born on August 25, 1949, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Paul William Fullingim Sr., and Christine Hunley Fullingim.

Paul was raised in Dickson where he graduated from the Dickson High School in 1967. He joined the United States Army and served from June 5, 1968 to March 7, 1971. Paul worked for Groendeke Trucking and Span Chevrolet as a mechanic and also Rice Auto Clinic. In 1976, he worked for OG&E as a District Transportation Supervisor and retired in 1995. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, riding with the Vietnam/Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club, his dog, “Snicker” and spending time with his grandchildren. Paul was affiliated with the Methodist faith and the Vietnam/Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club Chapter “K.” He was known by his chapter members as “Sidewinder.”

He is survived by: children, James Fullingim and wife, Jennifer, Madill, Oklahoma, and Jan Williams and husband, Craig, Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Logan and Landon Williams and Jensen and Jaylee Fullingim; mother, Christine Fullingim, Ardmore, Oklahoma; brother, David Fullingim and wife, Bobbie, Lone Grove, Oklahoma; and sister, Judy McDonald and husband, Earl, Dickson, Oklahoma.
Paul was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Madill, Oklahoma. David Rowley will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Ardmore, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.

Casket bearers: Vietnam/Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club Chapter “K”.
